Community generosity shines at United Way’s Stuff the Bus Events, supporting local students.
Big V Property Group is thrilled to announce the outstanding success of recent Stuff the Bus events held at The Markets at Town Center and The Avenue Murfreesboro. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our communities, 41,726 school supplies were collected at both Stuff the Bus locations.
Stuff the Bus is a nationwide United Way initiative designed to equip students with the essential tools they need to succeed in the upcoming school year. Each event is organized by local United Way chapters, such as the United Way of South Central Tennessee for The Avenue Murfreesboro and the United Way of Northeast Florida for The Markets at Town Center. These chapters work tirelessly to help ensure students receive the necessary supplies, fostering a supportive and prepared learning environment for all.

Big V Property Group is honored to continue our tradition of sponsoring a family in need during the holiday season in partnership with the dedicated staff at Golden Hill Elementary and the compassionate guidance of their school nurse Marlene Lysack. This initiative was only made possible through the collective efforts of our NY staff and generous contributions from Big V Team members like Sean O’Donnell, whose helped fill our Santa sacks.
Through the Big V Cares Program, our North Carolina and New York teams eagerly rolled up their sleeves to support Habitat for Humanity.
Our Charlotte, North Carolina, team lent their hands and hearts to the construction of a 39-home development at the Meadows at Plato Price. This impactful initiative promotes affordable homeownership in the Charlotte region, contributing positively to community-building and the local economy.
Our Florida New York Team went to work with the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh with the renovation of a home, aiding in the organization’s mission of revitalizing Newburgh’s neighborhoods and helping provide better, more affordable housing to the community.

Just in time for the holiday season, Big V Property Group, through its #BigVCares Initiative, is excited to be kicking off its pajamas drive for Promise Pajamas! Promise Pajamas is a Charlotte based organization with a mission to provide warm, new pajamas to homeless or underprivileged children.
Through December 2nd, we are collecting new pajamas for children ages 2 through 14. All sizes are needed, especially sizes 8 through adult.
Pajamas can be dropped off at our Charlotte office at 5821 Fairview Road, Suite 302.

For the 2021 holiday season, Big V worked with The Salvation Army at Willow Oak in Waynesboro, VA to use a vacant storefront to use as a holiday collection site. With the space we gave them, The Salvation Army was able to provide 364 children and 26 senior citizens in Waynesboro and East Augusta County with gifts, clothing, toys, and food to make their holidays merry and bright.
