Big V Property Group has closed on Spradlin Farm, a 181,055 square foot regional shopping center at 110 Conston Ave in Christiansburg, VA. The center is ideally located along US Route 460, the dominant retail corridor in Christiansburg, within the Blacksburg/Christiansburg/Radford MSA. Spradlin Farm is also centrally located between Virginia Tech University and Radford University, just minutes from I-81. The center was purchased from Brixmor.

Spradlin Farm is anchored by Big Lots, T.J. Maxx, Barnes & Noble, Michaels and Petco and shadow-anchored by Target and Home Depot. The center also has many smaller national tenants, such as Mattress Firm, Pier 1 Imports, Rack Room Shoes, H&R Block, Supercuts, Five Guys and Chick-Fil-A. Spradlin Farm is a best-in-class asset and represents a significant upside opportunity for our investors.  The center is 97% leased.

The center is ideally located at 1424 N Expressway, a highly trafficked retail corridor adjacent to the University of GA Griffin campus and within the Atlanta MSA. Spalding Village is anchored by Hobby Lobby, Ross Dress for Less, Goodwill and Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, with additional discount tenants Cato and Bargain Hunt and many smaller national and local service-oriented tenants. The center was purchased from RCG and is 93% leased. Anchored by Hobby Lobby, Gander Outdoors, and Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Promenade is ideally located just off of I-26 and directly across from the dominant super regional Northwoods Mall on Rivers Avenue, an important retail corridor in North Charleston. Big V Property Group has closed on Westside Centre, a 655,638 SF community shopping center located at 6275 University Drive NW in Huntsville, AL. The center was purchased for $35.9 million. Westside Centre is well-positioned along the busy University Drive retail corridor, where over 58,000 vehicles per day pass the property.  The center is adjacent to 4,000-acre Cummings Research Park, which is the second largest research park in the country and the fourth largest in the world.

Westside Centre is shadow-anchored by Super Target and has many national tenants including Big Lots, Stein Mart, Tuesday Morning, Pet Smart, Ross Dress for Less, Shoe Carnival and Party City. The center also has a diverse mix of smaller national and local tenants, including many restaurants and service-oriented tenants.
