Big V Acquisitions, a subsidiary of Big V Property Group, is pleased to announce the purchase of Lexington Towne Center in Lexington, SC.  Lexington Towne Center is a 131,809 square foot shopping center well positioned at the heavily trafficked intersection of Sunset Blvd (30k VPD) and North Lake Drive (14k VPD).  Sunset Boulevard is the main shopping corridor in Lexington and one of the most prominent in the Columbia, SC MSA.  Anchored by Food Lion and Stein Mart, additional national tenants include Books A Million, Hibbett Sporting Goods, Tuesday Morning, Little Caesar’s, Cold Stone Creamery, Jimmy Johns, Moe’s and One Main Financial. The center also has several local tenants and is 92% occupied.

HERMITAGE, TENN. — Big V Capital LLC has acquired Oakwood Commons, a 276,448-square-foot shopping center located at 4670 Lebanon Pike in Hermitage, roughly 16 miles northeast of Nashville. Other terms of the deal were not disclosed. Publix, Bed Bath & Beyond, PetSmart and Ross Dress for Less anchor the center, which was 88.6 percent leased at the time of sale. Additional tenants include Dollar Tree, Bank of America, KFC, Wells Fargo and Goody’s. Big V Properties, the property management affiliate of Big V Capital, will manage Oakwood Commons.

Augusta, Ga. — Big V Capital LLC has acquired Colony Plaza, a 216,693-square-foot shopping center located in Augusta, Georgia.

Food Lion, Sitel, Planet Fitness and Roses anchor the center, which is home to tenants including Hibbett Sports, Party N Dollar, Rent-A-Center, Fashion Metro and Hair Zone. The 89 percent leased center will be managed by Big V Properties, the property management affiliate of Big V Capital.

JONESBORO, GA. — Big V Capital LLC has purchased Crossroads South, a 207,404-square-foot shopping center located at 7965 Tara Blvd. in Jonesboro, roughly 17 miles south of Atlanta. The center was 91 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants including Kroger, Badcock Furniture, Planet Fitness, Roses, Subway, UPS and H&R Block. Big V Properties, the property management affiliate of Big V Capital, will manage the retail center. The sales price and seller were not disclosed.

Big V Capital LLC has closed on the acquisition of Gunbarrel Place, a 38,249 SF retail shopping center located on Gunbarrel Road, just off I-75 in Chattanooga,TN. The shopping center is in Chattanooga’s Hamilton Place sub-market, a premier and vibrant retail market that includes Chattanooga’s #1 super regional enclosed mall – the 1.3 million SF Hamilton Place.
Anchored by Office Depot, additional tenants include Forbidden City, Mattress Outlet and Easy Vet.  The center is currently 93% leased.  Gunbarrel Place is a value-add investment, acquired at significantly below replacement cost. 
The shopping center will be managed by Big V Properties LLC, our affiliated property management company.

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Big V Capital has acquired Haywood Plaza, a 93,357-square-foot shopping center located in Greenville, for an undisclosed price. The property is located across from Haywood Mall, one of the three largest malls in South Carolina. The Local Cue, Bargain Hunt and Portofino’s restaurant anchor the center, which is also home to tenants including Asian Supermarket, Alpine Ski Center, Clothes Mentor, Sally Beauty, Tony’s Pizza and Reed’s Uniforms. The seller in the transaction was undisclosed.

Norton, Va. And Siler City, N.C. — Big V Capital LLC has acquired a two-property retail portfolio located in Virginia and North Carolina for $4 million.

The acquisition includes VA-KY Regional Center, a 229,527-square-foot shopping center located in Norton, Virginia; and Siler Crossing, a 132,639-square-foot shopping center located in Siler City, North Carolina.

VA-KY Regional Center was 79 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants including Magic Mart, Ingles, Cato, Little Caesar’s Pizza and VA Outpatient Clinic. Siler Crossing was 58 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants including Tractor Supply, Kimbrell’s Furniture, Allstate, Triangle Fitness, Compadre’s Mexican Grill, Elizabeth’s Pizza, Rick’s Jewelers and T Nails. Big V Properties LLC will manage both properties. The seller was undisclosed.

The properties will be managed by Big V Properties LLC, our affiliated property management company. Siler Crossing in Siler City, NC is a 132,369 SF community shopping center located at 100 Siler Crossing and US Highway 64. The center is anchored by Tractor Supply and Kimbrell’s Furniture and is 58% leased.
VA-KY Regional Center in Norton, VA is a 229,527 SF shopping center located at 640 US Highway 58 East. It is anchored by Magic Mart and Ingles grocery store and is 79% leased.

Big V Capital, Big V Property’s investment management affiliate, has closed on three new properties located in the Southeast US. The Village at Myrtle Grove in Wilmington, NC is a 74,370 SF community shopping center located in a busy retail corridor in Wilmington. The center is anchored by Staples and CATO and shadow-anchored by Home Depot.

Lancer Center
 in Lancaster, SC is a 180,194 SF shopping center located in Lancaster’s prime retail corridor. It is anchored by Big Lots, Citi Trends and Pet Sense.
Lanier Plaza in Brunswick, GA is a 203,876 SF center located off I-95 near St. Simons Island and Sea Island, GA. It is anchored by Winn-Dixie, Dollar Tree and Rent-A-Center.
