Philip Forlenza

Mr. Forlenza will be joining the Property Accountant Management Group based out of Florida New York. This primarily entails working with other team members, tenants, and property owners in order to meet the goals for each managed property. This also includes assisting with month end close on each of the properties as well as the filing of taxes for Big V Property Group.

Before joining Big V property, Mr. Forlenza has had a wide breath of accounting experience. Starting as an entry level accountant at Dennis and Co Auto Group for three years, he then moved into the payroll department. While working in payroll Mr. Forlenza discovered the incorrect billing of health insurance to employees which had cost the company potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars if it had continued. Finally his most recent position was as a Compliance Analyst at an engineering firm. While there Mr. Forlenza worked with various levels of government to complete audits of accounting costs for different projects.

Phillip holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from SUNY Plattsburgh. He is an enthusiastic supporter of the New York Mets and enjoys rowing as a favorite pastime, reflecting both his passion for sports and commitment to active living.
