Spencer Marin

Spencer focuses on developing, reporting, and executing Big V’s Investment and Asset Management strategy to drive efficiencies, maximize performance, and create value across the portfolio. He helps develop processes that enhance consistency and maintains detailed analyses of property valuations, asset performance, and market position, communicating key insights to leadership.

Prior to joining Big V Property Group, Spencer spent eight years in commercial real estate, focusing on asset management and underwriting for distressed office, retail, and industrial assets. During that time, he managed over 3 million square feet across a national portfolio, overseeing leasing, operations, and capital projects to drive NOI growth and asset value. He gained experience in financial modeling, underwriting, and transaction execution while coordinating brokers, property managers, contractors, and legal teams to achieve ownership objectives.

Spencer graduated from Christopher Newport University with a B.S. in Finance, where he also played basketball. Recently, Spencer moved to Matthews with his wife, daughter, and two dogs as they search for a home in the Charlotte area. In his free time, Spencer enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cheering on the Michigan Wolverines and Washington Commanders, and competing in anything from basketball and pickleball to card and board games.
